DNP - Doctor of Nursing Practice Admission Requirements

Admission requirements to the DNP program are:

  1. Completion of a Master's degree in Nursing
  2. Minimum 3.0 GPA from Master's in Nursing
  3. Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist
  4. Current United States license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  5. Submission of three College of Nursing Graduate Program Recommendations for Admission (references) DNP Reference Form
  6. University and DNP supplemental application
  7. Interview with DNP faculty
  8. Computer Requirements For OUCN Students - Effective Fall 1998 all students will be required to own a computer. Specific computer and software requirements will be shared with students at orientation. Financial aid may be obtained for the purchase of required equipment.
