A Family Nurse Practitioner provides care to persons from newborn through aging, including obstetrics, but not birthing. Students interested in the Post-Masters Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certificate program must make application to the University of Oklahoma Graduate College & College of Nursing Graduate Program, as well as undergo a specific application, interview, selection process prior to enrolling in Nurse Practitioner pathway courses, due to limited enrollment.
Applications for the Post-Master's FNP certificate option are available in November annually, with a return deadline of mid-January. Interviews are conducted in February/March, with notification of selection in April.
