Undergraduate Application Process
Undergraduate Applications must be received by the application deadline. We do not accept late applications. All applications must be complete. Incomplete applications may not be reviewed.

Undergraduate Application Process
Step 1: Apply to the OU Health Sciences Center Campus
- Complete the Admission Application for the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center
(You will have to first create an account).
NOTICE: The online application was updated on Friday, September 28, 2012. Please view our tutorial for information regarding the new navigation format.
- Your application MUST be filed by the application deadline.

- Application Fees should be paid online at time of application.
Step 2: Submit College/ Program Forms
- LPN-BSN applicants must have completed the NLN Challenge Examinations with a passing score by the Application Deadline. Visit the Admission Requirements page for additional information.
Step 3: Send official transcripts and class schedules
- Submit Official Transcripts (must be in original, sealed envelopes) from all institutions previously attended. Please send updated transcripts when any new grades are posted.
- Students at the OU-Norman campus must also submit their Norman transcripts in a sealed envelope.
- A verification of enrollment (including coursework) must also be submitted for any classes that the applicant is currently enrolled in and/or will take in upcoming semesters. We will accept a copy of your class schedule if the verification of enrollment will not list your coursework.
- Submit High School transcripts (as applicable).
NOTICE: Outstanding documentation may affect your admission status. You must document that you will complete all classes prior to the start of nursing classes. Check often to make sure that your transcripts are posted.

** Please note as of November 19, 2012, applications will no longer be accepted for the Spring semester for the LPN-BSN or RN-BSN program.
Additional Information
- Application Status:
- Check your Application Status to confirm that all application materials are received and that all coursework is posted to your file. Incomplete applications may not be reviewed.
- Were you born outside of the United States?
If so, you should review information found on the International Applications page regarding English examinations and evaluation of international coursework.
- TOEFL:
If the applicant was born outside the United States of America a TOEFL examination will be required. The minimum score required is 600 (paper based), 250 (computer based) and 100 (internet based). The TOEFL examination can be no more than 2 years old and must be completed and filed at time of application with the Office of Admissions & Records. Waivers are not generally permitted through the College of Nursing. Waivers are, in general, only considered for applicants that meet one of the following criteria:
- US Citizens born abroad (such as military dependents), or
- International Students or Permanent Residents who completed grades 6-12 of their secondary education in the US and completed higher education (college coursework) in the United States, or
- Are from countries where English is the first or official language, or
- Have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree at a regionally accredited institution in the United States.
- Admission Decisions:
Complete Undergraduate applications will be processed only after the application deadline has passed. The application review process will take approximately 2 months to complete. You will be notified by mail regarding your admission status.
- Incomplete Applications:
It is the applicant's responsibility to confirm that all admission requirements are met and that all coursework (including scheduled courses) is posted for proper evaluation of your application. You will NOT be contacted by the College if your application is deficient or incomplete. Again, this is your responsibility.
