Need CE for your Conference?
A continuing education event can be co-provided by the Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing and another entity. Reasons for co-providing an event may include the ability to share expertise of presenters from both entities, to award CE contact hours both to nurses and to other disciplines, to grant CE contact hours when the other entity is not an approved provider, or to offer facilities not available at one of the entities.
Option 1: A Lead Nurse Planner (certified by OU CON) within the entity is involved with advisory committee and attends all advisory meetings. The designated Nurse Planner from the entity and the advisory committee will complete and track required paperwork to be completed in conjunction with the event. Certificates of CE’s will not be issued until all forms are received. Option 1 cost: $350/conference or workshop.
Option 2: As above in Option 1, but the entity will contract for an OU CON Nurse Planner to attend advisory meetings. The OU CON Nurse Planner will be involved in tracking or obtaining the forms. Option 2 cost: $500.
Option 3: As above in Option 2, but the CE Administrative Assistant handles registrations for the provider. Option 3 cost: $600, up to 100 registrants; $750, 101-205 registrants; $800, 250+ registrants.
Other services may be negotiated directly with the OU CON Continuing Education Department Administrative Assistant:
- Provision of location to hold program/parking
- Provision of snacks and beverages for conference breaks (AM & PM)
