Below is a list of the current required textbooks as of March 2007.

Online Book Orders

The OUCN Alumni Association is here to help students of the College of Nursing. Students in the BSN program and ABSN program have the opportunity to purchase books as part of a package (including electronic versions of the textbooks) or individually though the online portal.

Please retain copies of receipts or order confirmations for your personal records.

Please check below for information specific to your program. Please note that books are only ordered during certain time of the year. If you are interested in ordering books, please contact Lindsey Manning at Lindsey-Manning@ouhsc.edu or 405-271-2428 ext. 43258. Deadlines for the Book orders on each campus are listed below. The packages do NOT include every required book for the semester. Please be sure to review your required book list to ensure you purchase additional books separately.

If you do not wish to purchase the packages offered, you may also order individual books through the online portal. The online ordering site is available to all students. It offers nursing and medical books (books for nurse practitioners are also available) at a discounted rate with free shipping! Evolve Select – Electronic books cannot be purchased thorough the portal.

Career Mobility students:

Have the hospital pay for the electronic book packages.
Find a location at the Hospital/School where the electronic book packages can be shipped and the students can pick them up. The students would have to pay for the books in advance and shipping would take 2-3 weeks
Order all books, not just one semester at a time. This saves time and confusion!
