Event Description:
Teamwork is imperative to safe patient care. But how do you provide effective teamwork to a group of individuals with a variety of competence levels? Highly competent individuals can come together to form an unsuccessful team, while suuccessful teams can carry those who are incompetent or inexperienced. Collective competence improves teamwork. Keynote speaker Dr. Lorelei Lingard will present collective competence as potential solution to this teamwork issue. Various teamwork models used in a variety of settings also will be discussed.
