The 2009 Institute

Translating the Science of Aging, the first Reynolds Center Postdoctoral Geriatric Interdisciplinary Translational Research Institute, was held May 18 – 19, 2009 at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. 

Topics covered included:

• Interpreting new and emerging findings in the science of aging

• Senescence theories and goals for increasing health life span

• Cognitive science and aging

• Technology for environmental challenges to Aging in Place

• Potential interdisciplinary partners: Examples and outcomes
