Educational Resources
In fulfillment of its role as a true center for geriatric nursing excellence, the Reynolds Center actively identifies, develops and disseminates the best emerging research on aging in place and geriatric nursing education. Programs include:
- The Reynolds Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence Distinguished Scholar in Aging program, which brings together University faculty, students and community partners for face-to-face interaction with nationally renowned scholars focused on aging in place.
- The statewide Oklahoma Geriatric Nursing Education Workgroup, a group of faculty champions who meet in person and by videoconference to receive training and materials on geriatric-focused nursing education and provide input on their distribution to nursing faculty throughout Oklahoma.
- The Reynolds Center web site, which serves as a central access point for educational content from visiting scholars, Center enrichment programs and national organizations, extending its impact to the university and community of educators across the state and beyond.
The Center is committed to expanding its educational outreach efforts.
