OGNEW Inaugural Meeting and Reception, January 2009

The Donald W. Reynolds Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence seeks to strengthen geriatric nursing education across the state by joining nursing program faculty through the Oklahoma Geriatric Nursing Education Workgroup (OGNEW). Participants are nominated by their program to represent their institution based on geriatric expertise or geriatric interests as well as demonstrated striving toward excellence in the field.

Designated as “champions,” these professionals receive group consultation to implement geriatric content in their curriculums and have access to interactive web sites with shared-use educational materials. In addition, they participate in networking opportunities and videoconferences on geriatric best practices and receive invitations to Reynolds Center-sponsored events. Members of OGNEW include:
