For Oklahoma citizens, 2007 was a banner year, commemorating 100 years of statehood. For Oklahoma nurses, 2008 is also a banner year, as OU College of Nursing (OUCN) launches the first program in the state that will prepare nurses at the doctoral level and confer a PhD in nursing.  Read more...

With deep sadness, we share the news of the passing of Dr. Donna L. Wong, 1948-2008. Dr. Donna Wong is internationally renowned for her textbooks on pediatric nursing, Nursing Care of Infants and Children, Clinical Handbook of Pediatric Nursing and Essentials of Pediatric Nursing, all mainstays in nursing education. She served as an instructor, researcher, mentor and consultant in the areas of nursing education, patient care and pain management. Read more...
