Centennial Celebration and Reunion Weekend

Event Details

Please join OU College of Nursing for our Centennial Celebration and Reunion Weekend!  Visit with friends and faculty, explore the changes on campus and learn about The Power of 100!  Explore Oklahoma City and the revitalized Bricktown/Downtown area.  If you haven’t seen it in years, you will be surprised at the progress!  Please see the information below for additional details on events and how to register.

Hotel Info:

There are a number of hotels in close proximity to the OU Health Sciences Center and the Oklahoma City Airport. The College has not made any arrangements with these hotels – please contact them directly for reservations.

Parking: The College of located at 1100 N. Stonewall Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73117. Parking is available in Lot K on the east side of the College of Nursing building.  Alumni will receive a parking pass for the day upon arrival.

Join fellow alumni, faculty and friends for a special Centennial Luncheon event honoring 100 years of OU nursing!  Dean Benefield will share remarks on this anniversary and help us honor alumni of distinction and a Friend of  Nursing.  To nominate an alumnus please contact us at (405)271-2428 ext. 43258.  Please indicate on your registration form if you have special dietary needs.

Whether this is your first time back to campus or you are a frequent visitor, there is always something new to share at OUCN! Tour the College of Nursing with a current student and see the OU Health Sciences campus including the new Peggy and Charles Stephenson  Oklahoma Cancer Center.

Learn more about the use of  high-fidelity simulation in nursing education and see the way technology has changed the way we teach in our second century.
