    • N5033 - Research in Nursing:

      A lecture-discussion course in which students critique and design research studies in nursing and gain an awareness of the role of research in contemporary nursing practice. (3 credit hours)

    • N5053 - Policy and Ethics in Nursing:

      A lecture-discussion of ethics and health care policy in the United States and their implications for nurses and nursing. The social, political, economic, and ethical factors in delivering health care are examined. Ethical decision-making process is applied. (3 credit hours)

    • N5073 - Thoery Development in Nursing:

    A lecture-discussion course focusing on historical and contemporary approaches and knowledge development in nursing. Interrelationships between theory, research and nursing are explored. (3 credit hours)

    • N5083 - Health Promotion & Culture in Nursing:

      A lecture-discussion course focusing on models and research in culture and health promotion in nursing. Prepares the student to apply cultural knowledge to nursing care, education, and research and develop and evaluate health promotion programs. Aggregate-based approaches are emphasized. (3 credit hours)
