Essentials related to the NP Curriculum
- The NP courses include nursing and medical management of phenomena
- The NP practicum courses include clinical preceptorships with supervised direct client care
- Preceptors and clinical settings are selected, when possible in proximity to the the students home community. NP students are expected to facilitate clinical preceptor arrangements with faculty
- NP faculty conduct 2-3 on-site clinical visits with each student per semester
- All faculty who teach NP courses are NPs and most are in current NP clinical practices
