Enrollment

The Office of Student Affairs at the College of Nursing processes enrollments for nursing students. A student must be admitted into one of our programs prior to enrolling at the OU College of Nursing.

Enrollment Holds

There are times when an enrollment will not be processed due to an enrollment hold. The following are types of holds that could prevent enrollment from being processed:

  • Bursar Hold- Contact the Bursar Office
  • Transcript Hold/TOEFL Hold/Green Card/International Check-In- Contact Admissions and Records
  • Immunization/Certification Hold- Contact you campus contact. Information is at the bottom of the page.
  • Prerequisite Hold- Contact you campus contact. Information is at the bottom of the page.

OUHSC Enrollment Deadlines

  • Summer Enrollment Deadlines
    • Last day to enroll without a late fee: 
      May 31
    • Classes begin: 
      June 3
    • Late enrollment period: 
      ($50.00 late enrollment fee): 
      June 3 - 7
    • Final day to enroll / add a class: 
      January 7
    • 100% refund on complete withdrawals
      January 3 - 7
    • No refunds after: 
      January 7

  • Fall Enrollment Deadlines
    • Last day to enroll without a late fee: 
      August 16
    • Classes begin: 
      August 19
    • Late enrollment period: 
      ($50.00 late enrollment fee): 
      August 19 - 23
    • Final day to enroll / add a class: 
      August 23
    • 100% refund on complete withdrawals
      August 19 - 30
    • No refunds after: 
      August 30

Enrollment Forms

An enrollment form must be completed and submitted before you can be enrolled. All enrollment forms need to be uploaded into your Student Self-Service. There will be an "Enrollment Form" option on your To-Do list. Please do not email enrollment forms. Any forms received via email will be asked to be uploaded into your Student Self-Service. To expedite the enrollment process, ALL BSN STUDENTS, will complete a singular enrollment form at the time of admission/Orientation.  This singular enrollment form will allow College of Nursing staff to enroll students each semester through the duration of the program.  If a BSN student takes a leave of absence or is placed on an alternate completion plan, the student must complete and upload a blank alternate plan enrollment form each semester.  

To ensure proper form filing, please refer to the How to Complete the Enrollment Form instructions. Any form not properly completed will not be accepted. All students must submit an enrollment form regardless of their program. 

How to Upload the Enrollment Form instructions

To upload your enrollment form off campus students must register the DUO security authentication first: https://apps.ouhsc.edu/duo/. From there you can go to your Student Self-Service.
