The OU CON Reynolds Center faculty at the Mary Starke Harper Distinguished Leader Interview with Brigadier General Clara Adams-Ender, RN, MSN, CNAA, FAAN.
Brigadier General Adams-Ender (retired) served as Chief of the Army Nurse Corps; Commanding General, Ft Belvoir, VA; and Deputy Commanding General of the US Military District of Washington. In 1996 she was named by Working Woman magazine one of the 350 women who changed the world. She is currently President of Caring About People with Enthusiasm (CAPE) Associates, Inc., and was interviewed at the National Centers of Geriatric Nursing national leadership meeting.
The OU CON Reynolds Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence faculty and PhD students were in attendance where Brigadier General Adams-Ender was honored. Brigadier General Adams-Eder shared that she and retired CON faculty member Herb Nishikawa were in Korea together in 1963 at the 121st Evac. Hospital. Small world!!
