The OU Lawton SNA sponsored a Halloween carnival for approximately 60 inpatient children of the Southwest Behavior Center and dressed in characters. Games, prizes, dancing, food and gift bags with hygiene items, socks, journals, coloring books, crayons, candy, snacks and fun were given to every youth and teen. Each child received a fleece blanket for comfort. Many of these children do not experience fun in their lives routinely. This opportunity allows them to be children and receive gifts without expectations.
