A life experience for Shane Moore created the desire to be “that” person who could help save someone’s life and steer him into a nursing. “OU College of Nursing has prepared me for NCLEX and through rotations allowed me to find a passion for the emergency services. I would like to work in an emergency department or trauma center and eventually continue my education through a master’s degree program as either a family nurse practitioner or a clinical nurse specialist with an emphasis on trauma/critical care patients.”
Moore believes all nurses look forward to making a positive impact on patient’s lives. Whether he gets to work in the critical care setting or working wherever life takes him, he mostly looks forward to knowing he made a positive difference in someone’s life.
