Where to Give

Annual Fund

The college relies our annual giving to go towards our Annual Fund. The Annual Fund allows the College of Nursing to use the donations where they are most needed within the College. Contributions are used towards scholarships, renovations, visiting scholars, and technological advancements.

Student Scholarships

Student success and accomplishment is at the core of OU College of Nursing. Our faculty strive each day support our students in their academic accomplishments in order to produce quality nurses willing to lead the future of healthcare in Oklahoma. While the students rely on us for guidance in academic areas, they also look to us when financial problems arise. Enrollment in our nursing programs continues to grow each year and we depend on support from private donations to help fund scholarships for many of the students in our program.

Private donations allow us to grant students financial help as an award for their merit or an answer to their struggles. We hope you will consider making a donation to our scholarship fund and helping a future healthcare leader accomplish their goals.

If you are interested in learning about Endowed Scholarship funds, please contact Lindsey Manning in our Development Office. Endowed scholarships beginning with funding of $10,000 or greater.

Capital Needs

As we have seen tremendous growth in enrollment of students at all levels of our program and at all campuses , we have also jumped in the number of faculty needed to support the multitude of programs we offer. We are constantly looking for ways to continue to support our capital needs, including the purchasing of furniture, technological equipment and in the future, additional building space. Keeping up with technological advances will only contribute to the level of learning available to our students and is essential in order to continue to produce nurses of such a high caliber. We are currently looking for funding for the purchases of Simulation technology for our Clinical Practice Labs.

Faculty Support

The quality of our faculty is the foundation upon which academic excellence is built. Private support is key to recruiting, retaining, and rewarding outstanding faculty.

Private gifts to establish endowed faculty chairs and professorships are matched by the innovative Oklahoma State Regents Endowment Program.

Endowed faculty and chair positions allow OU to recruit and retain highly regarded teachers and researchers -- the kind of individuals who can take existing programs to a new level. In many cases, these faculty members are catalysts to draw other outstanding faculty, additional research dollars, top graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows.
