Seed Grants Program

The Nursing Research Seed Grants Program announcement is designed to make available a seed grant funding mechanism for full-time OU Health Sciences Center College of Nursing faculty committed to a program of research.Research topics must be related to areas that show relevance to national or regional initiatives (e.g., health disparities, underrepresented minorities, cultural competence, and domestic violence). Assistance in proposal development will be provided by the Center for Research and Evidence Based Practice (CNREBP). Faculty members applying for these funds should first meet with the Assistant Dean for Research to map out their plans for committing to a program of research and identify the need for assistance in writing the proposal or seeking research expertise or consultation. Applicants will then submit their proposal to the CNREBP office for review by one of the two submission dates - December 1 and May 1.
