•    The science GPA will be calculated from each attempt of all sciences taken.

Curriculum

SUMMER SEMESTER I – 11 WEEKS (12 Credit Hours) AUGUST INTERSESSION – 3 WEEKS (2 Credit Hours)

SUMMER INTERSESSION - 2 WEEKS (2 Credit Hours)

Fall SEMESTER - 16 WEEKS (15 Credit Hours)

DECEMBER INTERSESSION – 2 WEEKS (3 Credit Hours)

SPRING SEMESTER - 16 WEEKS (15 Credit Hours)

MAY INTERSESSION -3 WEEKS (3 Credit Hours)

SUMMER SEMESTER - (10 Credit Hours)

• A Bachelor’s Degree from a US regionally accredited institution
• Completion of 61 hours of prerequisite coursework
• 30 prerequisite hours must be completed prior to application
• All prerequisites must be completed with a grade of “C” or better

• Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale at the time of application and
• Minimum science grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale at the time of application. 
• At least two of the four required sciences must be completed prior to application

• Each attempt of any science course taken will be calculated into the science GPA, along with the four required sciences
• Please Note: The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) is on a semester credit- hour system. Students transferring coursework from an institution on trimester or quarter-hour systems should contact an advisor to determine how the coursework will transfer. OUHSC considers all coursework regardless of academic forgiveness granted by other institutions.
