Dr. Amy Hutchens has been an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Nursing since 2010. Dr. Hutchens instructs nursing students in Pharmacology and The Human Experience of Acute and Chronic Illness on the Oklahoma City and Norman campuses.

Dr. Hutchens was a fellow of the Transdisciplinary Training in Health Disparities Science program at Arizona State University. Amy’s research focuses on parents and their roles in children’s physical activity and nutrition behaviors. Her research is supported by the Presbyterian Health Foundation.
