Dr. Casey Prisby is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Nursing, where she serves as the Lawton Site Clinical Coordinator and Skills Lab Coordinator for the Lawton and Duncan campuses. She leads clinical and skills-based education initiatives focused on developing confident, practice-ready nurses. Beginning her career as an LPN, Dr. Prisby advanced her education with an ADN from Western Oklahoma State College, a BSN from Oklahoma City University, an MSN in Nursing Education from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and a DNP in Transformational Leadership from Colorado Christian University. Her doctoral work focused on improving student readiness through a pre-program workshop. Dr. Prisby brings diverse clinical experience in long-term care, pediatrics, maternal-newborn, and acute care. Her work is centered on clinical judgment, skills and simulation, and creating engaging learning environments that challenge and support students. She serves as a faculty advisor for the College of Nursing Student Association (CONSA).
