Dr. Julie Nevins previously served in the nurse executive role before joining OU faculty in 2026. With extensive experience in geriatric care and chronic disease management, she has led initiatives to improve patient outcomes and refine operational efficiency. She has served as academic nurse educator specializing in curriculum development for post-licensure students with focus on leadership and evidence-based care. Her clinical practice areas of expertise include community-based nursing, rehabilitation nursing, and nursing administration. Julie is passionate about advancing the health of our communities through nursing education and nurse empowerment.
