Dr. Laura Duran is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing, Lawton campus. She earned her BSN and MSN from The University of Texas at El Paso and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. With over a decade of nursing experience in critical care, leadership, and nursing education, Dr. Duran is passionate about preparing future nurses through evidence-based teaching, clinical instruction, and experiential learning. Her professional interests include clinical education, simulation, clinical judgment development, culturally responsive care, and fostering student success in both classroom and clinical settings.
