Clinical Assistant Professor at the Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. He obtained a BS in Nursing and a BA in Spanish from Texas Christian University, a MS in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington, and a DNP from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She maintains a clinical practice in pediatric hematology/oncology at The Children's Hospital at OU Health.
Her primary areas of interest surround supportive care and management of long-term toxicities of chemotherapy, including pediatric oncofertility care. Additionally, she is interested in pediatric clinical education with an emphasis on patient and family centered team-based atraumatic care.
She is a member of the Children's Oncology Group, the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses, and the American Association of the Colleges of Nursing.
