Dr. Nancy Chu Receives Policy Leadership Award

Nancy Chu, PhD, GCNS-BC, FNGNA, has been competitively selected by the Building Academic Geriatric Nursing Capacity program of the American Academy of Nursing as one of three award recipients to attend the Gerontological Society of America Policy Leadership Institute, which will take place October 21 - 23, 2009 in Washington, DC. The institute demystifies the process of policy-making by taking gerontology scholars to Capitol Hill to learn from key political constituents.
Dr. Chu is Associate Professor in OU's College of Nursing and a member of the Donald W. Reynolds Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence faculty.
