Assistant Professor at the Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the College of Nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. He obtained a BS in Management from Bentley University, a BSN from Louise Harrington’s School of Nursing at Baylor University, an MS from OU Nursing, and a PhD from Indiana University’s School of Nursing.
His primary area of interest is parent-provider communication where most of his education, scholarship, and service activities are focused. Two additional areas of his concentrated work include pediatric clinical education and interprofessional education where parent-advocacy and student-advocacy play vital roles. He is a Certified Nurse Educator with over 20 years of education experience who consistently looks to bring humanity and empathy into all of his work.
He is a member with the Academy of Communication in Healthcare, National League for Nursing and Sigma Theta Tau International.
