Dr. Buckner teaches across all programs at OU. She specializes in education, technology and interprofessional collaboration. Dr. Buckner is a fellow in the Academy of Nursing Education for her work with community partners in developing projects like the Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps (https://www.okmrc.org/) and Nursing Initiative Promoting Immunization Training (www.NIP-IT.org). Since 2015, she has served as a National Nursing Education Expert working with APTR, CDC, and AACN in developing Immunization Resources for Undergraduate Nursing (https://www.irunursing.org/). In this capacity, she has written and provided consultation on several CDC publications. She has been a member of OU Interprofessional Educators and Practitioners Association (IEPA) since 2017.
