OU Nursing Reynolds Program Administrator, Dr. Denise Short, achieves fellow status

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing Reynolds program director Dr. Denise Short received fellow status in the Health Sciences section of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). The board unanimously approved Dr. Short's status in a GSA Board of Directors meeting in May and the Society celebrated Dr. Short's accomplishment at the 2020 Annual Scientific Meeting, November 4-8 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Short was honored during the Health Sciences Section Business Meeting and Awards Presentation as well as at the Fellows and International Reception. The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) is the world's oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of aging.
