Full-time, tenure track or non-tenure track positions
The Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, invites applications for full time, tenure and non-tenure track positions. Faculty opportunities are available immediately in our Tulsa location with a focus in med/surg.
Academic positions require commitment to teaching, research/scholarly activities, and service. Applicants for clinically focused faculty positions must have a master’s degree in nursing, with a doctorate preferred (PhD, DNP or related field). Applicants for clinically-focused appointments must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma, and have a minimum of two years clinical experience in the area appropriate to appointment. Applicants for faculty positions that are not clinically focused must have an earned doctoral degree. Two years teaching experience is preferred for all applicants. Faculty appointments for these positions are made at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Professor level, on either tenure or non-tenure track, based on the candidates’ academic preparation, level of expertise, and experience.
