Heather Garrett is a dedicated nursing professional who has climbed the career ladder from Certified Nursing Assistant to Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, and now Nurse Educator. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).

With experience spanning long-term, acute, and critical care, Heather brings a wealth of real-world knowledge to her teaching. Her passion for nursing education is reflected in her commitment to creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences that connect theory to clinical practice.

Previously, Heather served as an RN Educator at the University of Oklahoma, where she enjoyed working in the skills and simulation labs. She believes in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
