Lori M. Murray, DNP, RN, Gero-BC, CNE is an associate professor in the Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC). She is a nurse educator and leader with over two decades of experience in clinical practice, academic teaching, and nursing leadership. Her clinical background includes past roles as a Nurse Consultant for long-term care, Risk Manager at the Jack C. Montgomery VAMC, Home Health Manager, public health nurse, and in-patient rehab, post-partum, and pediatrics experience. She serves as faculty for both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. She has presented at international, national, state, and local conferences on innovative nursing education practices. She is also engaged in service, with past leadership roles in professional nursing associations and as the Director of Accredited Nursing Continuing Professional Development at the University of Arkansas Eleanor Mann School of Nursing (2020-2025).

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Oklahoma, a Master of Science in nursing education from University of Oklahoma, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in organizational leadership from University of Kansas.
